Plain English summary: We collect your name, email, and phone number when you fill out a form on this site. We use it to respond to you and manage your project. We never sell your data. Ever. You can ask us to delete it anytime by emailing danielg@abundantautomations.com.

1 Who we are

This privacy policy applies to Abundant Automations, a web design and digital automation business operated by Daniel G., based in Plainfield, New Jersey.

When we say "we", "us", or "our" throughout this policy, we're referring to Abundant Automations. When we say "you" or "your", we mean anyone who visits this website or submits information through any of our forms.

You can reach us at any time at danielg@abundantautomations.com.

2 What data we collect

We only collect information you voluntarily give us. We don't collect anything in the background without your knowledge.

Information you give us directly

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your business name and type
  • Your business address and hours
  • Project details and preferences (submitted via our intake form)
  • Any messages or notes you include in forms

Information collected automatically

  • General website analytics (pages visited, time on site, traffic source) via Google Analytics — this data is anonymized and does not identify you personally
  • Cookies placed by Google Analytics and GoHighLevel (see our cookie section below)

What we never collect: We never ask for or store payment card numbers, bank account details, Social Security numbers, passwords, or any sensitive financial information. All payment processing is handled directly by Stripe — we never see your full card details.

3 How we use your data

We use the information you provide solely to run our business and serve you well. Specifically:

  • To respond to your inquiry — when you fill out our contact form, we use your name, email, and phone to get back to you
  • To deliver your project — information from the intake form is used to build your website correctly
  • To send project-related updates — we may email or text you about your project status, delivery, or revisions
  • To send appointment reminders — if you schedule a call, we may send a reminder via SMS or email through GoHighLevel
  • To improve our website — anonymized analytics help us understand what content is useful and how to improve the site
  • To send occasional updates — only if you've opted in, we may send tips or news about web design and automation for small businesses. You can unsubscribe anytime.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4 Third-party services

To run our business effectively, we use a small number of trusted third-party tools. Each one has their own privacy policy that governs how they handle data.

GoHighLevel
Our CRM and communication platform. Stores contact form submissions, manages follow-up emails and SMS, and handles scheduling. Privacy policy →
Google Analytics
Anonymized website traffic analytics. We use this to understand how visitors use our site — no personally identifiable data is stored. Privacy policy →
Stripe
Payment processing for project invoices and deposits. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles all payment data securely. Privacy policy →
Google Fonts
Typography loaded from Google's servers when you visit our site. Google may log basic request data. Privacy policy →
Readdy.ai
Website hosting platform used to publish and serve this website. Subject to Readdy's own hosting and data policies.

We do not share your personal data with any of these services beyond what is necessary to deliver our services to you.

5 Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. We use a minimal number of cookies to make our site work and to understand traffic patterns.

Cookies we use

  • Google Analytics cookies — anonymized tracking of pages visited, session duration, and traffic source. These do not personally identify you.
  • GoHighLevel cookies — used for form tracking and session management when you interact with booking or contact forms.
  • Functional cookies — basic cookies that help the site remember your preferences and operate correctly.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some features on this site.

6 How long we keep your data

We keep your data only as long as it's needed to serve you or meet legal obligations:

  • Contact form submissions — kept for up to 2 years in our CRM so we can reference past conversations
  • Project intake information — kept for the duration of the project plus 1 year for reference and warranty purposes
  • Payment records — kept for 7 years as required by tax law
  • Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics per their standard retention settings (up to 26 months)
  • Marketing communications — kept until you unsubscribe, at which point we remove you promptly

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. See section 7 for your rights.

7 Your rights

You have rights over your personal data. We take these seriously and will respond to any request within 30 days.

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct any inaccurate information
